“The last letter of the alien” By C. Wain

I feel the waves in my ears, as on my cheeks roll tears. They tell me pain is sour… I try… But I taste the salt as I cry. Alien amongst aliens. I feel better with the outcasted wretched when I eat my kin’s bread. The horses of death were four. In my nightmares, I have met them all. Please, tell me someone will choose me, for I badly need someone to love me. So, I end it here in a pang. The aliens are coming as they hear the bang
